VILLANOVA, Pa. – The Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) has announced its Players of the Week for October 24, 2022. This includes Players of the Week in Field Hockey, Men's Soccer, Women's Soccer and Women's Volleyball as well as Honor Roll selections in each sport.
This week's selections included contests from Monday, October 17 through Sunday, October 23. A total of 31 student-athletes were recognized for their performances.
Field Hockey
Offensive Player of the Week
Avery Jones | Jr. | Sweet Briar College | MF | Union, Conn./ The Woodstock Academy
Jones recorded four goals and two assists over three games this past week. She tallied one goal in the Vixens' 4-0 win over Southern Virginia while adding one goal and two assists in a 3-1 conference win over Lancaster Bible. She scored twice in an 8-1 conference win over Bryn Athyn.
Defensive Player of the Week
Allyson Shindler | Sr. | Wilson College | GK | Manchester, Pa./ Northeastern
Shindler led the defense in pitching three shutouts in all three contests Wilson played last week. She split time in a 7-0 shutout in which the back line didn't allow a single shot against Lancaster Bible. Her best performance came against CSAC rival Keystone in which Wilson scored early in the game and she made seven saves the rest of the way in a 1-0 win against the Giants on Saturday. Sunday saw another 1-0 shutout, this time against Juniata, with one save.
Honor Roll
Cedar Crest's Emily Demarest tallied an assist in the Falcons' only contest of the week.…Wilson's Paige Ney had an incredible week and was a key component in Wilson going 3-0 on the week. She opened up with a two-goal effort against Lancaster Bible on Thursday. On Saturday, she scored 44 seconds into the contest to give Wilson a 1-0 win over CSAC rival Keystone. She followed up with the lone goal in another 1-0 win, this time over Juniata on Sunday..…Keystone's Angelina Morley (Deposit, N.Y./Deposit) made two defensive saves at Susquehanna on Wednesday. Morley now has a team-high and CSAC-leading 10 defensive saves on the year, which ranks fifth-most in single-season program history. Morley currently is tied for second in Division III.

Offensive Player of the Week
Daniel Cook (Hamilton Parish, Bermuda/GED Certificate) | Fr. | Keystone College | MF | Hamilton Parish, Bermuda/GED Certificate
Cook tallied nine points in a 2-0 week for Keystone, including a hat trick with two assists against Valley Forge on Wednesday.
Defensive Player of the Week
Kameron Clark | Gr. | Cairn University | GK | Ewing, N.J./Ewing
Clark posted back-to-back shutouts (four-straight) in Cairn's 6-0 victory over Wilson on Wednesday and a 2-0 blanking of Clarks Summit on Saturday.
Honor Roll
Wilson's Brian Mulholland scored a goal and assisted on another in Wilson's 4-1 win against Valley Forge. It was the first victory of the season for the Phoenix.… Cairn's Moses Beers
Set a school-record with four assists in Cairn's 6-0 win against Wilson on Wednesday. Followed that up with a goal and an assist in Cairn's 2-0 road victory over Clarks Summit on Saturday.… Keystone's Hector Camaja Jr. (Palisades Park, N.J./Palisades Park) Camaja went 2-0 this week, earning wins over UVF & Bryn Athyn, while allowing just one goal.

Offensive Player of the Week
Ashley Rivera | Gr. | Bryn Athyn College | Southampton, Pa./William Tennent
Rivera was dominant for the Lions in a 3-0 week. Rivera logged 15 points which included 6 goals and 3 assists with wins over Keystone, Rosemont, and SEU. Rivera had a hat trick and an assist against Keystone. She followed up with two goals and an assist against Rosemont. She capped the week off with a goal and an assists against SEU.
Defensive Player of the Week
Shea Gormley | So. | Bryn Athyn College | D | Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Abington
Gormley anchored a defense that posted three shutouts and only surrendered 7 shots total in the three game on the week. She also added a goal and two assists from defense.

Keystone's Hailey Dunham (Southgate, Mich./Inter-City Baptist) scored both of Keystone's goals - including a PK - in Saturday's 2-2 draw vs. Rosemont.… Cedar Crest's Taylor Wolf broke the Cedar Crest College single-season program record for goals scored with six goals in a 12-0 triumph over Notre Dame of Maryland. The six-goal output also tied a single-match program record.… Notre Dame of Maryland's Emma Alascia Totaled a career-high 10 points (3 G, 4 A), tied for the second most by a CSAC player this season, during NDMU's 9-5 victory over Trinity Washington on Wednesday… Cairn's Rachel Yoder tallied a shot on goal in a loss to Wilson… Wilson's Halley Shaffer had a big week in leading Wilson to a pair of shutout victories. She scored a pair of goals in a 6-0 midweek win against Gallaudet, then followed with another two-goal performance and added an assist in a 4-0 win against Cairn on Saturday.… Keystone's Cassandra McHenry (Shickshinny, Pa./Benton Area) made her season debut as goalkeeper in Saturday's 2-2 draw vs. Rosemont, making 10 saves on 12 shots for Keystone…. Cairn's Isabelle Lazor tallied five saves in a loss to Wilson…. Wilson's Rebecca Marakovitz was 2-0, including a shutout of Cairn during a 2-0 week.
Women's Volleyball
Offensive Player of the Week
Sabrina Brock | Fr. | Bryn Athyn College | OH | Huntingdon Valley, Pa./Academy of the New Church
Brock led the Lions to a 2-0 week with 33 kills 28 digs and 13 aces total. Brock helped lead the Lions to a comeback win against St Elizabeth with 20 kills and 16 digs. On Saturday Brock had a double-double and was one ace away from a triple double.
Defensive Player of the Week
Ellise Everett | Fr. | Cedar Crest College | MB | Orlando, Fla./ Lake Nona
Everett tallied 14 kills and added eight total blocks over a pair of wins for the Falcons. She tied for the team lead in blocks with three in the victory over Cairn and tallied a match-high five in a sweep of Wilson.

Keystone's Adrianna Derrick (Oklahoma City, Okla./Putnam City) led Keystone with 21 kills this week, hitting .321. Derrick floored 14 kills at Delaware Valley on Monday.… Saint Elizabeth's Kristina Ashton tallied a career-high 37 assists against Bryn Athyn with three kills and four aces..… Notre Dame of Maryland's Natalie Newton served as the primary instigator for NDMU's offense during a pair of key CSAC victories, leading the Gators with 33 assists while also contributing 22 digs, four aces and four kills. She added a team-high 18 assists to go along with three aces on the offensive end in Saturday's 3-1 comeback victory at Rosemont… Cedar Crest's Ava Grapsy ed the Falcons to a 2-0 week and registered 58 total assists and 23 digs over the two matches. She tallied a season-high 40 assists and pitched in 16 digs in a straight-set win over Cairn. Grapsy then added 18 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 win over Wilson.… Cairn's Caroline Conrad recorded her first career triple double in Cairn's 3-0 sweep at Saint Elizabeth on Saturday.… Keystone's Hailey Herneisey (Middletown, Pa./Middletown Area) paced the Giants with 22 digs in a 1-1 week (2.75 per set), including 16 digs at Delaware Valley on Monday..… Saint Elizabeth's Onye Bosco totaled 14 digs against Bryn Athyn with a serve/receive rating of 1.913 to lead the team (with at least 10 attempts).… Notre Dame of Maryland's Ciarra Bockstie totaling five blocks to go along with 12 kills and seven digs on the week… Cairn's Lizzy Fay totaled 32 digs in three matches during the week.
