LATHAM, N.Y.- Keystone College baseball player Dante Ruby (Archbald, Pa./Valley View) was named United East Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

Ruby posted a .526 batting average (10-for-12) with a 1.053 slugging percentage and seven RBI as Keystone opened the 2026 season with a 4-2 record.

The sophomore infielder recorded five hits and four RBI during the team's four games at the Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

He stood out in the Giants' win over Westfield State, collecting four hits and driving in two runs. This marks Ruby's first Player of the Week honor.

Keystone (4-2) returns to the field on Thursday, Mar. 5 as they kick off their spring break trip against Maritime College at 10 a.m.
