Box Score 1

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, PA.- The Giants used a dominant second-half performance on both sides of the ball to secure a 19-6 victory over Penn State Schuylkill on Tuesday evening. Desiree Stamps (Alpharetta, Ga./Centennial) and Jayda Price's (York, Pa./William Penn) 40 yard touchdown connection gave the Giants the lead, one of which they would never relinquish.

The Giants struck first in the opening quarter, capitalizing on early momentum to take a 6-0 lead. Keystone's defense set the tone from the jump, consistently disrupting Schuylkill's offense and forcing key stops to maintain control.

Penn State Schuylkill answered in the second quarter, finding the end zone to even the score at 6-6 heading into halftime. Despite the tie, Keystone showed flashes offensively, moving the ball effectively through the air behind a poised performance from Desiree Stamps (Alpharetta, Ga./Centennial).

Coming out of the break, the Giants seized full control. A pivotal third-quarter drive saw Stamps connect on a 40-yard touchdown pass to Jayda Price (York, Pa./William Penn), capping a 66-yard drive and giving Keystone a lead it would not relinquish.

From there, the Keystone defense took over.

The Giants forced multiple negative plays and turnovers, including two interceptions, while holding Schuylkill to just one successful third-down conversion all game. Time and again, Keystone shut down drives before they could develop, including a critical goal-line stand in the fourth quarter that preserved a two-score advantage.

Offensively, Keystone continued to apply pressure through the air. Stamps finished an efficient 16-for-21 passing for 184 yards and three touchdowns, spreading the ball across multiple targets. Price led the receiving corps with 74 yards and two scores, while Hailee Hackett (Carmicahel, Calif./Rio Americano) added 57 yards on five receptions.

Keystone added an insurance score in the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 19-6, putting the game out of reach and sealing the road win.

Overall, the Giants out gained Penn State Schuylkill 256-231 and controlled possession for over 33 minutes, showcasing a balanced and disciplined performance.

The Giants, now sitting at 4-6 look to carry their momentum as they take on Montclair State University in the final home contest of the season. Keystone wraps up the regular season on the road in a crucial United East Conference tri-meet against Cedar Crest College and Gallaudet University. The Giants defeated Cedar Crest earlier in the season 14-6.
