LA PLUME, PA– Keystone College field hockey has been selected eighth in the 2026 United East Conference preseason poll as the Giants prepare to return to competition this fall under head coach Courtney Dwyer.

After not fielding a team during the 2025 season, Keystone is set to return to the field with a 20-game schedule featuring a challenging mix of non-conference and United East competition.

The Giants will get their first opportunity to take the field on Saturday, Aug. 29, traveling to Widener University for a preseason scrimmage. Keystone will then officially open the 2026 season on Wednesday, Sept. 2, hosting William Paterson University at the Turf Field Athletic Complex at 2 p.m.

Keystone will face a busy opening stretch, playing five contests in its first two weeks of the season. Following the season opener against William Paterson, the Giants will travel to Ramapo College on Sept. 5 before returning home for three consecutive contests. Keystone will host Delaware Valley University on Sept. 9, DeSales University on Sept. 12 and Marywood University on Sept. 14.

The Giants will close out the month of September with six additional contests. Keystone travels to Lycoming College on Sept. 16 before hosting United East opponent Keuka College on Sept. 20. The Giants will then travel to Utica University on Sept. 23 before returning home to host FDU-Florham on Sept. 27. Keystone will close out its non-conference schedule on Sept. 30 at Elmira College.

Keystone will begin United East play on Saturday, Oct. 3, hosting Wilson College at 1 p.m. The Giants will remain home on Oct. 7 to face Gwynedd Mercy University before beginning a stretch of three consecutive road contests against St. Mary's College of Maryland on Oct. 10, Immaculata University on Oct. 13 and Penn State Harrisburg on Oct. 15.

The Giants will return home for their final two scheduled home contests of the regular season, hosting Cedar Crest College on Oct. 21 and then traveling to Lancaster Bible College on Oct. 24 to close out the regular season.

With a new season and a fresh start ahead, Dwyer and the Giants will look to establish Keystone field hockey within the United East while taking on a full slate of competition throughout the fall.

Keystone's return to the field marks an exciting new chapter for the program as the Giants prepare to compete in their first official season since 2024.
