LA PLUME, PA – Keystone College's men's and women's cross country teams will enter the 2026 season ranked in the United East Conference preseason polls, with the men's team selected 10th and the women's team picked 11th as the Giants prepare for their first season under head coach Milana Straub.

Straub, who was named the head coach of both the men's and women's cross country programs in July, will lead the Giants into a 2026 campaign featuring eight meets throughout September and October.

Keystone will open the season on Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Bryn Mawr Invitational/WCU Season Opener. The meet will mark the first competition for the Giants under Straub and provide an early opportunity for both teams to establish themselves heading into the fall.

The Giants will return to action the following week at the Lafayette XC Invitational on Friday, Sept. 11, before traveling to the PSU-Abington Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 19. Keystone will close out September at the WCU Purple & GOLD XC Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 26.

The schedule continues into October with the Cairn Highlander Invitational on Oct. 3 and the WCU Golden Ram Invitational on Oct. 17. Keystone will then compete at the LVC Last Chance Meet on Friday, Oct. 23, in its final tune-up before the conference championship.

The Giants will conclude the season at the United East Conference Championships on Saturday, Oct. 31.

With the men's team receiving the No. 10 spot and the women's team coming in at No. 11, Keystone will look to build throughout the season and use its eight-meet schedule to prepare for the conference championship.

The 2026 season represents a new beginning for both programs under Straub, who will look to guide the Giants through their first campaign together and compete against a strong United East field.
