SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, PA- The Keystone College men's soccer team traveled to Penn State Schuylkill on Wednesday afternoon for a non-conference matchup.
Goalkeeper Jasmyn Miller (Virginia Beach, VA/Ocean Lakes) turned in a busy performance for the Giants, making 23 saves over the 90-minute contest. Miller made 13 saves in the opening half before adding 11 more stops in the second half.
Keystone created opportunities throughout the afternoon, finishing with four shots, including three on target. Reshma Kaldan (Scranton, Pa./West Scranton), Sarah Koster (Dumont, N.J./Dumont) and Ryleigh O'Brien (Philadelphia, Pa./Franklin Towne Charter) each recorded a shot on goal, while Emma Herman (Larksville, PA/Muhlenberg Christian Academy) also registered an attempt.
Penn State Schuylkill opened the scoring in the 25th minute and carried a 4-0 advantage into halftime. The Giants continued to battle in the second half, with Miller making several key saves to keep Keystone competing throughout the contest.
Kaldan, Koster and O'Brien each tested the Schuylkill goalkeeper in the second half, while Keystone's defensive effort continued to battle against the Schuylkill attack.
