LA PLUME, PA- Following an unforgettable 25-21 victory over Alvernia University on Friday night, the Keystone College football team has named four Players of the Game for their performances in the season-opening thriller.

Frankie Leyshon (Lake Ariel, PA/Western Wayne) was selected for the Giants' "Count On Me" Award, while Sean Owens (Waymart, PA/Western Wayne) earned Special Teams Player of the Game honors. Jayvon Swann (Chesapeake Beach, MD/Northern) was recognized as the Defensive Player of the Game, and Ethan Sadler (Endwell, N.Y./Maine-Endwell) was named Offensive Player of the Game.

Leyshon delivered a strong performance under center, completing 11 of his 20 pass attempts for 171 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 25 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown as the Giants battled back throughout the contest.

Owens made his impact felt on special teams, averaging 39.0 yards on four punts. His night included a 51-yard punt and a punt that landed inside the 20-yard line, helping the Giants win the field-position battle. Owens also contributed defensively with five tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.

On the defensive side of the ball, Swann led the Giants with eight tackles while recording two tackles for loss. He also came up with a crucial fumble recovery to help Keystone's defense create an important turnover.

Sadler capped off the night with a performance that Giants fans won't soon forget. He rushed for 45 yards on nine carries while adding three receptions for 56 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

His biggest play came with the game on the line.

With the clock winding down and Keystone trailing, Leyshon found Sadler for a 30-yard touchdown pass as time expired, giving the Giants a dramatic 25-21 victory over the Golden Wolves.

The four Players of the Game helped Keystone open the season with a memorable victory and provided key contributions on offense, defense, special teams and beyond.

The Giants aim to keep their winning ways afloat as the team heads out to Washington and Jefferson College to face off against the Presidents in their second test of the early 2026 campaign.
